  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Michael Resig: We heard about Lumina through the nonprofit Solar Switch program. We have been interested in getting solar for many years, but the process of finding a good solar provider and getting a trusted quote was very difficult - until Lumina. Lumina has a team dedicated to helping you learn everything you need to know about the solar process and they keep you informed during the journey. Lumina was excellent with communicating every step and they managed all the paperwork, permits, installation, inspection, and warranty info. It was an incredibly smooth experience and it all happened very quickly. We’re excited and proud to have our home powered with solar, and we have Lumina to thank!
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by James O'Driscoll: Tim did a great job of explaining the process for adding a second system to my home.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by WeiHao: I was a big fan of the green energy. I did a lot of research on the local solar companies and asking around for references. It ended up that Lumina was the right decision I made. Tim Cooke was very detailed and professional that always kept me updated on each phases. I was so impressive each sub groups and processes. No hassle at all. I highly recommend Lumina and ask for Tim.
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Niraj Shah: The process was seamless working with Sufi and rest of the team at Lumina. The system seems to work as expected. Unlike other company salesmen, even if I have a question after an year, Sufi is quick to respond and answer any of my queries.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by tim brodhead: Going solar is something I’ve thought about for years and finally decided to act on it. Jevon Ciciliot, my salesman reached out to me and drove all the way up to my house to discuss further and come up with a game plan with the most efficient system possible. Jevon was polite, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. With such a major investment, naturally there are a ton of questions. Jevon was able to answer and explain everything in a way that doesn’t make your head spin. He also presented and carried himself like a friend that I’ve known for years. Jevon was always available to answer any questions that inevitably pop up and would get back to me promptly regardless of how busy his schedule may be. Once it came time for installation, the install crew also carried themselves professionally and worked quickly. I was told it was a 2 full day job to complete but they were done in a day and a half without any mistakes. They kept me in the loop throughout the install so I always knew how things were going. And most importantly they didn’t leave any mess behind once they were done. Overall I had an excellent experience.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Brent Ackerman: Couldn't have been happier with entire process from start to finish. Pete Hayes walked thru the design, specs and cost and answered all questions without any pressure. Installation crew was fantastic and reviewed everything upon completion. Highly recommend Lumina and Pete.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Zachary Shaffer: This company is is one of the best I've come in contact with for any good or service. Everything from start to finish was beyond what I could've asked for. My sales consultant Christopher Richardson was very knowledgeable, and was able to explain every detail about the solar project in advance. Then, at install, he showed up to see how the install went, and made sure everything was up and looked good. The install team asked me how I wanted the panels organized on my roof, how I wanted the conduit run, and did it exactly how I asked. The electricians answered all of my questions too. The whole experience was good from start to finish. After the install, my sales consultant is still available to answer any questions I've had, including the tax form I'll need for filing this coming year. You can not go wrong with Lumina Solar.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by julio guardado-rubio: Excellent team providing excellent service and products!
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Corey DeSimone: I shopped around for solar panels at a few places including Tesla, and none of the companies stood out to me like Lumina Solar. I’m all about customer service, and working with Philip Jordan was by far the best experience I could’ve asked for.. He had answers to all my crazy questions (and there were a lot) and taught me a lot about solar in general, while not being your typical pushy salesman at the same time. He found me the best, affordable price coupled with top of the line products and tech. I recommend him to all of my friends/family and neighbors interested in solar. Lumina Solar all the way!
  • Routinely check mounting hardware-- tighten up anything that feels loose.
  • Look for staining or warping on panels, indications of concealed damage.
  • Keep an eye on inverter performance metrics; sudden drops often mean underlying problems.
